Boko Haram terrorists have killed at least ten people in Cameroon, according to reports.
The insurgents launched consecutive attacks on three towns in the Northern part of the country, Reuters reports.

The attacks and casualty figure were reportedly confirmed on Friday, April 16, 2015, by two senior officials of the Cameroonian army.

"There were consecutive attacks by Boko Haram in Bia and Blaberi in the district of Kolofata in the early morning," one officer, who chose to remain anonymous, said.

The officer added that the terrorists had fled into Nigeria before troops could arrive the scene of the attack.

Cameroon is one of three countries that has deployed troops to Nigeria as part of a multinational force formed to combat the sect.
